OK, I was going to go the Amazon route, but unless I misunderstand, I have to pay $40/month to list something that is all mine. If I want to list a duplicate of something that is already there, there is just a listing fee.. What?!?! Not so entrepreneurial-minded if you ask me! So, their loss, I listed them on esty instead. I'm so excited to see something that is completely my artwork out there!

Birthday Cards Galore
Here are some birthday cards I made from some scraps left over from a mini book project I did. I love doing this as it really makes me think creatively, I use up stuff, so less waste, and I always have cards to send out!

Amusement Layout
Here's a layout a did a couple years back from our first family vacation. We went to Gatlinburg. Ben had a ton of fun riding the rides and the people running them were so sweet because they just let him keep riding over over. Love the big circles, the big Basic Grey label plate, memorabilia & my handwriting.
Thanks for looking!

Just a couple of quick cards I made using some scraps that were left over from another project. I know they are blurry. Yes, that is my handwriting.
Quick & easy, my favorite kinds! Thanks for looking!

Mini Phone Book
This is a little book I made for Ben back when he was trying to learn people's addresses & phones. I haven't found an easy way to update it, as it has changed considerably. A 3 ring might have been better?
He picked out all the papers that he wanted to use.
I think if I did one again, I would just have lined paper on the one side & let him write it, and in a 3 ring. That way it can be changed/updated & capture his handwriting.

Thank You Cards
The image quality of these isn't the best, I was fooling around with my camera settings, but I think you'll still be able to see them OK.
Just some quick, fun cards using up some scraps from other project. I love being able to stretch out supplies & it is certainly nice to have a stack of cards ready to go when I need them!
Thanks for looking!

National Hot Dog Day
OK, so I'm a day late & a dollar short - again, but with it being Super Bowl Sunday and all, I figured at a least a few of these would be consumed today. And just to get you going, here's a lovely picture for you....
A real life, honest to goodness old-fashioned Drive-Up in Peru, IN. They have some of the best hotdogs, ever!
And yes, that is really their name. Doesn't it make you giggle?! So go scrap some food pictures, you know you want to, I dare you...

National Oatmeal Month - January
OK, I was going to get a video clip to stick in here, but I couldn't find one I like, so we'll just go without the music.....
I have a confession to make.... I didn't get any layouts uploaded last week. I did get more of my mom's pictures sorted - found her old report cards from elementary school, her birth certificate, and a bunch of hospital stuff from my brothers' births - cool stuff. I did get the CheckBoxZ finished up, so I just need to snap some pics & upload them to the shop. I did start a layout of my nephew's birthdays. I think I'm doing 5 on a page. Even grabbed a couple out of my parent's duplicates folder, how cool is that? I did sing special music yesterday & have a nice long lunch with pastor Kay. I did take a nap. I did help my parents by cleaning out their closet. Mostly. My dad needs to give up some of his coats. And I did proof some of my digital photos. I'm down to doing about a folder a week instead of before. But they are still getting done. It's eating an elephant - one bite at a time. But I'm sorry I didn't get any layouts uploaded. I also did run out of time and energy. The new schedule is kicking my hiney, but it will be OK.
OK, and since my mom has always said I'll be late for my own funeral, which means I suppose in this case that I'm a day late & a dollar short, it was national oatmeal month in January. So, I think you should celebrate by having a big, steaming bowl of this yummy goodness. And yes, I recommend this brand, and this kind of oatmeal. Free your tastebuds from instant, it's worth it, trust me. Now, in Ireland, they call it porridge, you know as in "peas porridge hot, peas porridge cold, peas porridge in the pot, nine days old". But whatever name you call it, there is only 1 word to describe it - yummy, hearty, delicious, filing, good for you... OK, maybe more than 1....

And yes, clementines are darling, and yummy too. We each bunches of them, thanks to an old Spanish prof I had at IUPUI who turned me on to them. They are so easy to peel, small & yummy!
So, I also challenge you to make a layout about your love of oatmeal (or clementines) and if you want, send it to me, I'll post it here, just email me benzillascrapping at gmail dot com...
Happy scrapping!

CheckBoxZ are coming soon
What are CheckboxZ? Cool, neat little journaling spots I'm working on. I hope to have them done & in the shop soon. Thanks to all of you for being so patient with me while I try to get my new routine & schedule down. It has been hard, but I think I'm getting there.

Mini Book Share - Ruth Lucille
Hey everyone! Thought I'd share a mini book that I made for my Gramma Ruth about 2-3 years ago (yes, I really am slow in sharing!) Don't know if you can tell or not, but I really do like mini books, they are fun & you can get one done in a day or two, which feels really, really good!
Her favorite color is red (which she looks really good in too) so it has a lot of red & purple in it. All of these are before she was married, so mid- to late 1930s.
That's my great-gramma Ola Lumpkin with her on the right.
With her brother, and with friends.
With her brothers, and a 4-H dress.
With her cousins
Family, more cousins
Her brother, again, and working on the farm.
More dresses for 4-H
If I remember right, these 2 were at Purdue, where she & my gramma went for a couple years before the war.
Thanks for looking!

Sweetheart collection in progress
Hello everyone! while my new job is keeping me on my toes, I did manage to get some new product created over the weekend, and posted to the shop tonight.
Super-cute IconZ in Pink and Red. I just noticed the product picture for the pink one isn't quite right, check out the red one for the designs (they are the same). Just gotta love technology -except when it doesn't work!
Super-cute Journal BlockZ in Pink and Red , an assortment of styles & sizes.

Our Daddy Mini Album
This is a mini album I made for Bob Father's Day 2007. As many of you know, that was a hard year, it was the year we separated. But the boys love him so much, so I tried to capture some of that in this for him. Not sure what he did with it. Anyway, thought I'd share it here for you all to see. I made the base pages from Bazzill Basics cardstock, the patterned paper I think is all Junkitz, and the embellies are very varied (is that redundant?!?!) I used my favorite comb-binder to make the binding. This was also back when I didn't like to use my own handwriting. I've since gotten over that.
Enjoy!
