Good morning card fans!  Here's just a random assortment of Happy Birthday cards using DCWV papers and other odds and ends laying about the studio...

This one was a fave, I used a transparency to make a rub-on.

Using Bracket FrameZ again and DotZ, digital form here...Digital DotZ

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek!

Card Share - Happy Birthday

OK, so these aren't the easiest to see, that's disappointing!  Just a collection of 4 Happy Birthday cards using SEI papers, buttons, and Bracket FrameZ and Journal BlockZ and I printed out Happy Birthday on clear label paper to adhere to them.  Super cute, and super easy!

Card Share - Love

Just some super - cute cards made mostly with stuff just lying around.  Maybe even begging to be used... The generic Journal BlockZ is no longer available (but if you ask I might be willing ;) ) and the other one is from the Valentine's Collection.

Thanks so much!

I liked the tree so much I made 4 more with a "hello" theme.  Lots of fun!

Thanks for looking!

Card Share - Congratulations

I really liked using the corrugated cardboard for this.  I just hand drew the tree trunk on the back and then cut it out.  I also liked the button for just a bit of added depth.

Card Share - Rocket Girl

What a cute little card!  I don't remember where I got the playing card from, but I added it to some Dear Lizzie paper and look what you get!

Card Share - Be Mine

Just 3 sweet cards this morning... you gotta love 'em!  LOL

This one is so simple, but so sweet.  I love the half-circle punch out and the DCWV paper that shows through...

It's hip to be square....fun size, really!  This uses some leftover cardstock, ribbon & letter tag on a Journal BlockZ that are now discontinued on the Etsy store but here are a couple alternatives, Digital and Traditional.

Layout Share - LIttle People

We might have had a slight problem with Little People.  I could blame it on the boys, but I think it was me.  I loved the movies, I wanted every set.  They are so stinkin' cute & so much fun to play with.  It was hard when they outgrew them, but I was able to let them go and they were adopted by another very loving family.

Just a cute, quick layout I did to document my younger son's attachment to his pacifier.

Thanks for checking it out!

LO Share - Unconditional

This was a very simple, quick layout.  Probably my favorite kind!  My older son had such an attachment to his pacifier and this documents a bit of the story.

Thanks for checking it out!

LO Share - Reel Favorites

Still very busy trying to work on the house & other life activities, so I guess it is good that I have a stack of layouts I haven't shared yet.  Here is one that has no pictures on it, but it just a top 5 of my favorite movies we have seen, plus a few others thrown in for fun.

Thanks so much for checking it out!

Card/Gift Share

This was a cute little card/gift box combo that I made a while back.  The card is just a single sheet (not folded) and it fits inside an old tape backup case.  Very nicely held the gift card.  Just one way to recycle/upcycle that office trash!  Thanks for looking and I hope it inspires you to try something to reduce waste too!

Mini Book Share - Europe

Here's  little album I made for Gadget's daughter one year for Christmas, after she and her brother (he took all of the pictures, he's got a wonderful eye! Well, except for the ones he is in, she took those) toured through parts of Europe.  They had a ton of fun and the book was almost as fun!

News from the Studio

Hello all! I realized it has been May since I've updated you all on what is going on in our lives!  The living room is all done, as are all the garden planting (well, not really because a lady at church gave me some of her castoffs!), and we have been busy on the laundry room remodel that will turn it into my studio office.  I'm so excited!  If all goes well, we should be moving furniture into it today or tomorrow.  Needless to say, not a lot of scrapping has been going on as the house is in complete disarray.  Both minions did cross country so they have not had a lot of extra time, but it is over this week so I'm hoping to enjoy a few perks of them being here.  In the mean time, I have a huge backlog of layouts that I have not shared, so I'll keep on with those.

At parent-teacher conference last night I had the pleasure of speaking with one of the boys' teachers who is also a scrapper, love it!

Keep scrapping & keep happy!

LO Share Live in the Moment

Greetings all!  It has been a busy couple of weeks as we have been remodeling the laundry room in an effort to create studio space for me in the new house.  Lots of exciting discoveries (some not pleasant) but all has worked out.  Just part and parcel of owning a (nearly) 70 year old house.  But it feels like a new one compared to the old one, that was old at 89.

Both of the boys loved to sit in this basket! Not sure if I have any pictures of the younger one doing it.  Just a super fun, quick layout.

LO Share - Sleepytime

Boy, it has been awhile since I have shared anything!  Life has been busy.  Good, but busy.

Yes, I let my baby sleep on his belly.  It was the only way he would sleep.  He's still a belly sleeper!

LO Share - But I'm not sleepy/News from the Studio

Good morning!  It looks like we will be having a beautiful, sun-filled day today. We had a line of nasty storms go through a couple of days ago, so it is a welcome change!  We are also preparing for the upcoming nuptials of the eldest child of the bunch.  That is a very weird experience for me, but one that I am delighted to be included in.  The festivities start tonight.

We are continuing to settle into the new house and find our new rhythm.  It has been a lot of yard work and painting and unpacking.  In fact, it is almost time for the boys to have summer with their dad.  I can't believe it has flown by so fast.  It always makes me feel sad and like I have squandered the time.  I know I haven't really, it is life, and they have to learn that, but I'm also learning more and more every day just how precious it really is.

Yes, I was creepy and used to take pictures of them sleeping.  Probably wouldn't get away with that now.  015 always insists he's not sleepy and that sleeping is a waste of time.  It can become a serious issue around here.  But I think he's slowly starting to understand that it is a necessary evil.  The top picture, the most recent, he was probably 9.  I honestly can't remember why they both ended up in my bed that night.  Probably bad dreams.  When you are living those days (of not sleeping because someone kicked you all night) it is hard to keep in mind that they are precious days and it is bittersweet when you look back on them and miss them.
